Strong and durable
Birch wood doesn’t warp easily. It is considered one of the strongest and most durable timbers. That's why we’ve used it for a lot of our frames and legs.
Fine texture
This timber is silky smooth to touch. It has a fine, uniform texture and a grain that runs close. It also has a heavy density that makes it hard to dent and scratch. Meaning it looks newer for longer.
“Every piece of our Birch wood has been carefully selected by our makers. This translates into furniture that is beautiful inside and out.”
Easy to care for
The best way to look after Birch is with an occasional wipe down with a clean, dry cloth. It’s not a fan of too much heat or sunshine. So keep products in a cool and shady spot.
Stable quality
Birch trees are found in mild climates in the Northern Hemisphere. They’re abundant and fast growing, so using them minimises environmental stress. Birch symbolises stability and adaptability in Celtic cultures. And in furniture making, too!
