Shipping
Free Shipping is based on a select group of metro cities and postcodes. A large majority of Australia qualifies for free shipping for over 90% of our items! Deliveries occur during Business Days and usually within Business Hours.
Returns
We recommend that customers thoroughly inspect the goods when delivery takes place. If upon delivery you notice an item is damaged, not as described, or faulty you are required to reject delivery by the driver to which you will need to contact our Customer Service Team within 24 hours to arrange re-delivery.
If damage is noticed after delivery you must contact our Customer Service Team within 24 hours of receiving your delivery to which evidence of the damage will be required i.e. photographs.
As the customer, you have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession. If products are damaged by you and subsequently returned, a charge will be made to repair the product to its original condition. Please be aware that where repair is not economically viable no refund will be made.
Appliances Sales will cover the cost of shipping both ways for faulty items returned within 3 days. Outside this initial 3 day period, the buyer will be responsible for the cost of shipping both ways. If an item was picked up from the store, any faulty goods must be returned to Appliances Sales by the buyer. Appliances Sales is not responsible for returning any products that have been lost in transit if you have returned it at your own will.
In the event of any returns, a Return Authorisation number must be obtained by providing a brief explanation of the reason for returning the goods. You must provide particulars as to why you are not satisfied with the products in your order. If for any other reason you need to return an item please call our Customer Service Team within 7 business days of receiving your delivery.
Upon receipt of a returned product, Appliances Sales will inspect the product and make its decision in its sole discretion whether it is more appropriate to offer a repair or replacement. We will offer a repair or replacement within 28 days of receiving the faulty item or earlier depending upon stock availability. If a replacement or repair cannot be provided within a reasonable time frame, a full refund will be provided.
If your goods remain boxed and unopened you may return them within 7 days from when you received your order for a full refund. A collection fee of $50 or the amount of a delivery fee which we will quote will apply if greater than $50 will apply. We will organise for your return goods to be collected, with goods usually collected within 3 days.
If your goods have been unboxed but otherwise are as new (have not been used or connected) a restocking fee of up to 30% of your purchase price will apply. If they are still boxed and unopened a restocking fee of up to 30% of your purchase price can apply - this is treated on a case by case basis. A minimum collection fee of $50 or the amount of a delivery fee which we will quote will apply if greater than $50 will apply. Again, we will organise for your return goods to be collected, with goods usually collected within 3 days.
We are unable to accept the return of any goods that you have attempted to connect, install or have used.
All refunds or redeliveries will be issued when goods have arrived back to our Appliances Sales warehouse and have been inspected by a member of our team. Refunds will be made by the same method used for the purchase.
This policy does not apply to any Items bought on sale. No returns, refunds, or replacements will be available in such an event.
Warranty
All products at Appliances Sales are brand new and come with a minimum of 12 months Manufacturer's Warranty (unless otherwise specified). You must retain a copy of your tax invoice and contact the Manufacturer directly if you require warranty service and repairs.
How to Make a Manufacturer Warranty Claim?
To make a claim under the Manufacturer's Warranty, please contact the relevant manufacturer directly or by contacting us. Please note that you will require your tax invoice when making a claim.
The Manufacturer Warranty Claim is personal to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferrable.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, we will provide, at our option, a repair, replacement or refund for the product or a component of the product. If a product or component of the product is no longer available and cannot be repaired, we will, in our absolute discretion, replace the product with a substitute item. Appliances Sales shall not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost revenues, lost profits, loss of data, rental of replacement equipment, damage to property, and third party claims arising out of any claim, either in contract, tort, and statute or otherwise. In no event will Appliances Sales’s entire liability exceed the purchase price of the product.
No other express warranty or representation has been made or will be made on behalf of Appliances Sales with respect to the products, their components, or the operation, repair or replacement of those products and components. No representative of Appliances Sales is authorised to make any changes or modifications to any Consumer Guarantees.
Except for the limited warranty permitted herein, to the extent permitted by law, Appliances Sales disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including all warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent that any implied warranties may nonetheless exist by operation of law, any such warranties are limited to the duration of any Consumer Guarantees.
