The Rancilio Bottomless (Naked) Portafilter is the next step in making a better-tasting espresso. A bottomless portafilter lets you perfect the art of espresso. Without spouts, the bottomless portafilter gives you an unobstructed view of the entire extraction process as it progresses.

With the basket exposed underneath, you can see the whole extraction process and diagnose any problems with the shot. An excellent tool for learning what channelling and colour changes look like; an indication of uneven tamping or incorrect grinder settings.
